Ecosystem Services – Landscape Ecology Integrative Role 22th-24th June 2016, Poland
The Polish Association of Landscape Ecology and the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, University of Warsaw are the organisers.
As the ecosystem services concept is widely used in theory and practice all over the world we hope to build the platform for wide and fruitful discussion of relations between ecosystem services and landscape ecology. We would like to direct the debate on the following topics:
- landscape as multi-dimensional frame for ecosystem services mapping and assessment
- landscape function and functioning – natural capital – ecosystem services
- tools and methods of landscape and ecosystem services diagnosis and monitoring
- landscape and ecosystem services management in practice – challenges, determinants, relationships.
